Ocean Jasper Pendant
Natural "ocean jasper" tumbled pendant. Ocean jasper, also called orbicular jasper, is found in only one place in the world- a small area in Madagascar. Its distinctive "bulls-eye" pattern is actually a cross section of layered spheres. When cut and polished, the spheres are cut and only the cross-section is seen, showing growth layers which are formed similar to tree rings. This pendant has been cut and tumbled to reveal the spherical "bulls-eyes" that make ocean jasper so distinctive.
